A facility designed to help clients maintain an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle and “transition” back into the community. Activities are supervised, although not necessarily 24 hours a day, within an alcohol and drug-free environment. Attendance at a recovery or treatment program is mandatory, although those services may not be onsite. The vital purpose for drug addiction help and treatment is for the individual to abstain from drugs forever.
