ALL MALE SOBER LIVING HOUSE
We have enjoyed good success in the recovery of our house members in the clean and sober community. We maintain a family atmosphere, as we live here ourselves. It is our home. Cambridge House is situated near Pico and Western in the Historic Harvard Heights District of Los Angeles. We are readily accessible to bus, subway and train lines. We are established in a spacious 1906 Swiss chalet style Craftsman home. This affords that we have the ability to put no more than 2 men to a bedroom and 4 men to a refrigerator. We have air conditioning in the summer and plenty of hot water, fully upgraded plumbing and electricity, modern day green washer and dryer, wi-fi and cable TV at no charge. This is our personal home; we share it with select members of the recovery community. Our monthly rent is variable with a $175 deposit that can be split up. This allows house members to be able to live within their means as they trudge the road to happy recovery. AA and NA standards are our operational basis. We provide a comfortable environment to enable you to pursue your goals and to make a life for yourself. Keep it simple. Four AA/NA meetings are required from non-working members and three from working members each week, each member must have a sponsor and work the 12 steps. We provide program guidance and suggestion and also provide drug and alcohol testing on an as required basis. John is a retired M.D. CAADC eligible.
